+ ultimate collection of AI design resources

Last month we did the ultimate Raycast Deep Dive, but there's a lot in there… so this week I want to highlight just the segment from the product design team.
We go deep into how they collaborate, why they’ve started shipping more code since joining, and what it takes to build a culture obsessed with craft .
Tbh I’m already planning on stealing some of their weekly rituals (especially the design digest Figma file) 😅
🤝 WITH LOVABLE
So here’s the thing… the last few prototypes I’ve made haven’t been in Figma.
Instead I’m using Lovable and honestly… it feels like magic to create real software without touching any code. You can literally build whatever you can come up with and it’s really good.
I’m genuinely proud of the prototypes I’m making and developers can’t believe how quickly I’m able to bring my ideas to life.

So this is your wake up call. Don’t stay stuck in rectangle land. Lovable is way easier than you think and I’m having more fun designing than I have in a long time
And if you use the code DIVE20YT you can get 20% off on your first purchase of any Lovable plan but the code expires soon!

🔗 FEATURED RESOURCE
Miggi’s liquid glass promo video
Figma released their Liquid Glass feature last week which is cool and all but the best part was this teaser video from Miggi 👀

He made the whole thing in Figma and breaks down exactly how in this thread.
“I had an idea in my head… and embraced being scrappy”
🔗 FEATURED RESOURCE
Resources for becoming an AI designer

If you’re looking to go deep on AI then this Github project is probably the most in-depth resource I’ve come across yet.
It’s full of helpful articles and general advice about interaction patterns, prompting, mindset shifts, etc.
It’s a supposed to be an evergreen community resource so I recommend bookmarking this link 👇

🧃 INSPIRATION JUICE
3 things I saved this week
1️⃣ Unique popover border radius

This is officially the first piece of inspiration juice coming from Reddit.
It’s so rare that someone achieves a truly unique take on a common pattern. 10/10 no notes (ok maybe the border bottom should stay on click but that’s still just one note).
2️⃣ Slick hero scroll animation
I really like the Making Today website for a couple of reasons:

This hero section animation is dope. I love it when the animation isn’t just for show but speaks to the value of the product.
They stack feature cards vertically in a narrow column where it would’ve been tempting to do a bento grid. I think this makes for such a better reading UX.
3️⃣ Crisp empty states
Pretty much everything Luma puts out is 🔥 and these empty states are no different.

A few things I like:
white border that fades out at the bottom
subtle frosted transparency for the background shapes
lots of strategically breaking the frame
How much did you enjoy this issue?Never hesitate to reply with feedback too :) |
Meet the Dive partners
I made a list of my favorite products and asked them to come on as sponsors of the newsletter/podcast. They said yes 🥹
